What is Technical
Assistance?
Technical Assistance is a way to assist parent centers to
improve their ability to solve problems by providing information and linking
centers with resources.

- On-site visits working directly with center boards and staff
- One to one consultations with center directors
- Needs assessments
- Individualized plans for customized technical assistance (ICAP)
- Conferences, webinars, and other group events for learning and sharing
- Training and information about current and emerging topics
- Quarterly electronic newsletter (Region 4 Insider)
- Parent Center Nonprofit Management Certification Program (collaborative
partnership with the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee School of Continuing
Education)
- Parent Center Exchange Program
